Andrea Mastrovito (1978, Bergamo) vive e lavora tra New York e Bergamo. Nel 2007 ha vinto il New York Prize assegnato dal Ministero degli Affari Esteri italiano, nel 2012 il Premio Moroso e nel 2016 il Premio Ermanno Casoli. Il suo lavoro è stato esposto nei maggiori musei nazionali ed internazionali, dal MAXXI di Roma al Museo Novecento di Firenze, dal MART di Rovereto al Pecci di Prato, dal BPS 22 di Charleroi alla Manchester Art Gallery, dal MUDAC di Losanna al Laznia Center di Danzica, dalla Kunsthalle Osnabruck al Belvedere 21 di Vienna, dal Museo del Novecento di Milano alla Gamec di Bergamo, sino al Queens Museu, a Magazzino Italian Art e al Museum of Arts and Design di New York.
