A creative hotbed for the artists of the Milano Film Festival on the occasion of its tenth edition.
The Casa dei Registi is a collective experiment where young talents confront each other and look for new languages to interact, communicate and create new collaborations. During their residency, the filmmakers were engaged in the realisation of a common film project, a multi-handed and multi-shot film that recounts the experience of the festival and the house, an evolving project resulting from the ideas of each individual member of the group, an open source that was developed, but not concluded, at Assab One.
On this occasion, the space was set up with beds and sofas, tables, chairs, and furnishings of all kinds, to create a real home in an art space: ten rooms for 4-5 guests each, a bar area with a kitchen, chairs, and tables for breakfast, a relaxation area with an international bookshop and an auteur video library, a workshop equipped for editing and post-production, and a self-managed projection area where the filmmakers could show their works.
