A conversation on Ohanjanyan’s artistic research, whose work places the human being at the center of their connections to socio- cultural and political contexts. An overview of the infinite possible connections: the many manifestations of the inner world of each of us, with the people around us, with nature, and with the universe.
Participants are Mikayel Ohanjanyan (artist), Mazdak Faiznia (exhibition curator), Elena Gervasoni (artistic director of Building Gallery), Marco Meneguzzo (curator and art historian), and Federico Mussa (pediatric neurosurgeon Meyer Hospital).
A workshop resulting from the dialogue between the artist Marta Dell’Angelo and Mikayel Ohanjanyan.
Open to all ages, the workshop envisages the encounter of different alphabets through the gesture of graphic signs. The chosen phrases, transposed onto paper using brushes, sticks, and pencils, become a original means of self-discovery, exploration, and sharing of diverse cultures.
