Invited by the Provincia di Milano, Assessorato alla Cultura, Culture e Integrazione to present the work of an artist within the Trade Fair, Assab One presents Dafne Boggeri, who, following her partecipation in Assab One 2004, was awarded a scholarship by the Dena Foundation for Contemporary Art, together with the Centre Culturel Français of Milan and the Comune di Milano Settore Sport e Giovani.

Returning from her stay in the Centre International d’Accueil et d’Echanges des Récolletes in Paris, Dafne Boggeri presents a different work each day.

Biographies

Dafne Boggeri
Through different expressive languages she operates a questioning path between the real and the unreal. In 2004 she created the independent label ‘AC/D*She into which converge visual-sound productions and the project ‘*Klava, a line of conceptual accessories in which gender and pop-divertissement themes are mixed (http://www.acdshelabel.com). Between 2004 and 2005 she spends six months in Paris at Le Centre International d’Accueil et d’Echanges des Récollets. During the residency she forms the live cinema project ‘Surrender Winona’ and starts collaborating with the French collective ‘Kill The Dj’. Inaugurates the experimental space of Le Plateau (FRAC Ile de France) and organizes the ‘Cortocircuito’ festival, 6 episodes in which electronic music and informal visual interventions bring together contributions from young artists and independent productions.

Console De Cea
Born in Vina del Mar (Chile) in 1974, she has been studying Viola da Gamba since 1996. She has taught courses in early music at the Academia de Musica Antigua of the University of Salamanca (Spain) and L’Attersee Barock Akademie (Austria). She has given concerts in Chile, Austria and Italy, where she collaborates with the Baroque Orchestra of the International Academy of Music, among others. She is currently studying with Rodney Prada at the International Academy of Music in Milan.

Invernomuto
Founded in 2003 as an audio-visual experimentation group. With an emphasis on the collapse and intermingling of languages, the group’s work takes the form of off-format productions such as the editorial project ffwd_mag, focused on the relationship between images and sound, research that expands into the production of single-channel video and the design of livemedia performances. http://www.ffwdmag.org

Elio Marchesini
He collaborates with several orchestras, including: Orchestra Sinfonica della RAI, Teatro alla Scala and Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano G. Verdi. He performs chamber music in various ensembles: I Percussionisti della Scala, Ensemble Castiglioni, Naqqara, New Art Ensemble, I Percussionisti di Milano, of which he is one of the founders. He has written pieces for film, theater and chamber ensembles.
