Elisa Bordin (b. Vicenza, 1998) started studying piano at the age of five with Maddalena Falda. She is currently a student of M° Marian Mika, with whom she has been specializing since 2016 at the Chopin Academy and the “A. Pozzi” Academy in Corsico (MI). She obtained a first-level degree in piano with a grade of 110 cum laude, then completed the academic course with a second-level degree, again obtained with top marks. She also took lessons in opera singing and clarinet.
Elisa has performed in several halls, including: the prestigious Romanian Athenaeum in Bucharest, the Solitär – Mozarteum in Salzburg, the Eutherpe Hall in León (Spain), Casa Balş (UNAGE) in Iaşi, the Multicultural Center of the University of Transylvania in Brașov, the Academy of Romania in Rome, the Ferrara Hall of the Scarlag Conservatory in Palermo, the Convent of San Francesco for Piano City Pordenone, the Beethoven Hall in Trieste, the Auditorium of the Free Stars in Corsico (Milan), Palazzo Guarnieri in Feltre for the “Concerto Eccellenze Venete”, the Sala Maffeiana of the Teatro Filarmonico in Verona, the Società LeBeraria in Verona, the Circolo Ufficiali in Castelvecchio (Verona), Auditorium Pollini in Padua, Auditorium of the Centro Culturale San Gaetano in Padua, the Teatro Comunale in Castelnuovo del Garda, the Oratorio di San Nicola da Tolentino in Vicenza, and the Sala degli Specchi of the Hotel Ritz in Abano. She also took part in the “Simultaneo Ensemble” project 2016 and 2017, thus performing in chamber ensembles in different provinces of the Veneto region. Elisa has won prizes in various competitions, including 1st Prize at the “Salzburg Grand Prize Virtuoso,” 1st Prize at the 5th edition of the Cittadella Città Murata International Music Competition (2020), 1st Prize at the 6th edition of the Cittadella “Città Murata” International Music Competition (2021), Second Prize at the “MIMC Medici International Music Competition” in London (UK), the 2022 scholarship awarded by the Inner Wheel Club – District 206. Besides that, in duo with soprano Yukiko Shimizu, she won the “Manuel Antolini” Prize for the best young duo at the 2016 “Elsa Respighi” International Competition in Verona, Italy. Elisa has attended master classes with Konstantin Bogino, Lilya Zilberstein, Roberto Cappello, Vincenzo Scalera, New Zealand Chamber Soloists, Izabella Simon, Ioana Stanescu. He has also recorded for Tactus Records.
